About the Author

Dr. Andrew Westmoreland has served as the president of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, since 1998, but his involvement with the institution dates to his student days in the 1970s. He is a political scientist, a teacher, a fundraiser, a planner, a motivator, and a volunteer. Dr. Westmoreland is married to Dr. Jeanna Westmoreland, who serves as the dean of Ouachita’s School of Education. They have one daughter, Riley Elizabeth.
